Jasper is home to many beautiful lakes. Each with its own landscape, wildlife and even water colour. Accessible by a short walk through lively forests. We have rowboats ready for you and your friends or family to enjoy: Valley of the Five Lakes, Moab Lake, Beaver Lake, and Cabin Lake.

There are several larger lakes which are easily accessible. Great for cruising along the glassy waters by boat: Pyramid Lake, Patricia Lake, Talbot Lake, and Maligne Lake.

All you need to bring is your fishing gear and your Parks Canada Fishing Permit, which you can purchase at the Astoria Hotel.
Life Jackets and other necessary items are provided with the rental. All necessary items including whistles, bailing buckets, life jackets,keys and even fishing permits can be found at the Astoria Hotel in downtown Jasper. 404 Connaught Drive.

For Jasper Canoe rentals, Jasper Kayak rentals, or Jasper boat rentals in general, we are growing and improving our fleet year by year. Although our rowboats are somewhat vintage, many of their remote locations are often secluded and less visited by the masses. Our canoes and kayaks on Maligne Lake are a great solution for day trips, or overnight camping on Maligne Lake. We offer multiple overnight rentals for summer bookings.

If you are booked-in for backcountry camping on Maligne Lake through Park’s Canada Reservations system, look no further to reserve your boat! Click on the ‘Book Rentals’ box on the right of your screen for Canoe and Kayak availability.

*All rental boat keys and equipment are to be picked-up and Dropped off at the Astoria Hotel, 404 Connaught Drive.

includes 101lb electric motor & 3 batteries
+ $200 each additional day

* We do offer a delivery service to the lake for an additional fee if you can not pick up boat and take it up to the lake and back it in yourself. (fee $300)

• PDF, paddles or oars, bailing bucket & rope are provided free with boat rental

• Motors and batteries are subject to availability

• Electric motor operation requires a valid Pleasure Craft Certification or equivalent

  • 3 page form required before renting if you do not have certification

• Cash or credit card deposit required for all rentals

• Prices may change without notice

• 5% GST and 2% DMF will be added to all of the above rates

We also rent fishing equipment for those that would love to try and catch some of our great fish in the area but, you either did not bring your own gear or did not plan on fishing. We have you covered. ($50/per Day each.)
